In the second quarter of 2022, the social app landscape on the Android platform in Latin America showcased diverse performance trends among the top five applications: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook Lite, Facebook, and TikTok Lite - Save Data. TikTok experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $204K in mid-June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 2.05M in mid-April and a low of 1.51M in late May. Active users saw a consistent rise, climbing from 107.4M at the beginning of April to 112.2M by the end of June.

Instagram had a more modest revenue performance, with weekly earnings peaking at around $6.1K at the end of May. Downloads slightly decreased from 1.45M in late March to 1.24M by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 168M mark throughout the quarter.

Facebook Lite did not generate any revenue during this period. However, its weekly downloads showed a gradual decline, from 1.31M in mid-April to 964K by the end of June. Active users also saw a downward trend, dropping from 53.7M in mid-April to 50.1M by the end of June.

Facebook saw weekly revenue peaking at around $82K in mid-April. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 956K in late March to 875K by the end of June. Active users hovered around the 196M mark, showing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

TikTok Lite - Save Data did not generate any revenue either. Downloads showed a peak at 737K in mid-April before settling at around 675K by the end of June. Active users saw a decrease from 20.9M in mid-April to 19.4M by the end of June.
